How much will I have to pay for my Sortlist plan?

Using Sortlist starts at 99€ / month if you pay annually and at 149€ / month if you pay monthly. In both cases, an annual commitment is required.

We always recommend to pay annually, as it allows you to save 34% on your subscription.

You then have the possibility to activate your visibility and opportunity modules by defining a monthly budget you are willing to invest. The way you’re consuming this budget, which can be increased or decreased at any time, will impact the amount of your invoice.

Average visibility and opportunity prices are discussed later in this article.

What is the difference between visibility and opportunity consumption?

Your visibility and opportunity budget won’t be consumed in the same way.

With the visibility module, you pay per click to your profile from our directories, search, and homepage. This means you only pay for the visibility you’re actually getting.

As mentioned above, you can always decide to increase or decrease your maximum monthly budget from one month to another. You stay in control of your expenditure, as you will never be invoiced more than the maximum monthly budget you’ve set.

What happens when your visibility budget is fully consumed? You are removed from our sponsored listing. It means the amount of directories where you can be found is limited and your ranking is affected negatively.

On the other side, with the opportunity module, you pay every time you apply to an opportunity. You can see the price of each opportunity before you apply to it, which will be deducted from your budget. As per the visibility module, you stay in control of your total spending by defining a maximum monthly budget based on your objectives and capacity to take on new business. You will never be invoiced more than that.

Declining an opportunity is, of course, free.

How much does an opportunity cost?

The price of an opportunity will vary from one opportunity to another. Several factors can influence the price of each opportunity you’ll receive:

  • the client’s budget,

  • the client's location,

  • the size and reputation of the client’s company,

  • the verification-level done by Sortlist,

  • the maturity of the project,

  • the media budget,

  • And other factors (ex. engagement of the client, completion of the briefing, your agency relevancy for that opportunity, ...).

The price of the opportunity will also depend on how well you are matching with the client's needs. Indeed, the more you match with a client’s project, the less you will have to pay to apply to it.

For example:

  • You have an office in the client’s city?

  • You have experience in their industry?

  • You’ve won similar projects in the past on Sortlist?

Then the opportunity will be cheaper for you, compared to competitors not matching with the client’s needs as well as you do.

Invoices are automatically sent at the end of each month based on your exact consumption.

So if you added €1000 to your Opportunity Module, but only applied to opportunities amounting to €500 in value, you will be invoiced for €500 and €500 will remain in your account to spend on opportunities going forwards.

How much does visibility cost?

Visibility on Sortlist follows the same philosophy as Google Adwords, with a cost per click varying based on competition and giving preference to relevant results to improve user experience and conversion.

In other words, cost per click (CPC) varies from one page to another depending on:

  • The market baseline (taken from Google Ads),

  • Your relevance to the page (the more relevant, the lower the price)

  • The competition (the higher the competition, the higher the price).

CPC prices on Sortlist start at €0.5 and can go up to €10 in very competitive markets.

Just like the opportunity module, invoices are automatically sent at the end of each billing period based on your actual consumption. That is to say: the actual number of clicks on your profile.

So if you added €1000 to your visibility module, but only received clicks amounting to €500 in value, you will be invoiced for €500 and €500 will remain in your account to spend going forwards.
