Your performance on Sortlist, both in the directories and in the algorithm, is highly dependent on the quality of your profile.
To help you understand and improve your profile quality, you have access to your Profile Quality Index (“PQI” for those in the know).
An improvement of a few percent can double your visibility and opportunity flow.
The PQI is scored out of 1 and is calculated using 5 criteria, detailed in this article. These criteria are based on the elements that are important to visitors looking for an agency.
The criteria
Your portfolio
This criterion corresponds to the achievements posted on your profile. This score is calculated using:
The number of recent projects for each active service,
The completion of the information under each project.
The more projects you have completed and attached to your expertise on your profile, the higher your score! Only projects that are less than 2 years old will be taken into account.
Your online reputation
Here we refer to your client reviews. About 85% of advertisers look at customer reviews before choosing their agency. So let your current and former clients convince prospects for you! This calculation is based on:
The quantity and quality of reviews: 10 reviews with a score of 4.5/5 is better than 1 review with a score of 5/5
Having at least one published award or certification
Only reviews posted less than 18 months ago will be taken into account in the score.
Your transparency
This criterion is linked to all the useful information about your agency. Here is an exhaustive list of all the information that should be registered on your profile:
A logo
A cover image
The size of your team
A description of your agency
The tagline of your agency
The year your agency was founded
Your ability to work remotely
Your social networks
The languages you work in
Agencies are scored in the same way on all these criteria. For example, an agency with a team of 100 people will have the same score as an agency with a team of 10 people.
Your talent
That is to say your services, with for each of them:
A description
Skills (keywords)
A budget range
If you complete these three fields for each service, you will have a higher score.
Your team
To reach the maximum score in this criterion, you must have:
2 profile managers
A team picture
A team story
You can see that the higher your Profile Quality Index is, the higher the visibility of your profile. This will also increase your chances of receiving more projects each month.
You now have all the information you need to complete your profile! You will be able to identify your strengths and weaknesses and fill in the missing information to get the highest score. And remember: adding a lot of content at once is good, adding it regularly is better!
