Quick answers to common questions about Radar. For the basics, start with Understanding Radar.
Why don’t I see every visitor?
Only a share of visits can be matched to a company. Not every company’s IP address is known, so many visits can’t be linked to one, and visits from home or mobile networks, or in private mode, can’t be identified either.
Does Radar identify individual people?
No. Radar identifies the visiting company, and, where verified contact details exist, decision-makers at that company. It never identifies the individual person behind a visit, to stay GDPR compliant.
Why do some companies have no contacts?
Contacts are shown only when they’re verified, so not every company includes them. See Using your dashboard.
How do credits work?
Each identified company uses 0.25 credit from your Sortlist balance. Within a billing period, a company identified more than once isn’t charged again. Your limit resets each billing period, and companies that reach you through your Visibility campaigns are identified for free.
How long until I see data from my website?
Once the snippet is installed, identified companies appear within 24 hours of your first visitor. See Installing the Radar snippet.
How do I change my limits or pause Radar?
On the Radar page, open Settings (the gear icon). In the Credit Limits tab you can change the Monthly limit for each source, or click Stop Radar to switch it off.
What’s the difference between Sortlist visitors and Website visitors?
Sortlist visitors are companies that viewed your Sortlist profile or browsed agencies and services like yours on Sortlist. Website visitors are companies that visited your own website. For this, you need to install the tracking snippet.
