The visibility of these contact details varies depending on whether your application is accepted, if there is inactivity from the project owner after you've applied, or if your application is rejected.

Let's dive into the specifics of each scenario.

TL;DR

You get access to a client’s contact details:

  • As soon as he reviews and validates your application.

  • 48 hours at most after applying.

  • Never if the client dismisses your application within 48 hours after receiving it.

When the prospect accepts your application

When a prospect accepts your application, you gain full access to the opportunity details and the prospect's contact information.

This includes:

  • Full name: You'll be able to see the prospect's full name, helping you to personalize your communication.

  • LinkedIn profile: The prospect’s LinkedIn profile will be available for you to view, providing insight into their professional background and connections.

  • Preferred contact medium: You will be informed about the prospect's preferred method of communication, ensuring your outreach is effective.

Additionally, the following will occur:

  • Chat activation: As soon as you send your introduction, the chat feature within Sortlist will be activated, allowing you to communicate directly with the prospect.

  • Event in your calendar: An event will be added to your calendar after having sent your introduction. The event will be updated when the prospect confirms their interest, both with their phone number and email addresses.

  • Email notification: You will receive an email informing you that your application has been accepted and the contact details are available.

  • Phone or meeting link disclosure: You will have access to the prospect's phone number or meeting link, facilitating further discussion and project planning.

When the prospect rejects your application

If your application is rejected by the prospect:

  • No access to identity or contact details: The prospect's identity and contact details will remain inaccessible.

  • Email notification: You will be informed via email about the rejection.

  • Automatic refund: Your application fee will be automatically refunded in credits that you can invest in future opportunities, unless the rejection occurs after the scheduled meeting time or if there is evidence that a meeting took place.

When the prospect doesn’t react to your application within 24 hours.

If the prospect doesn’t review your application 24 hours after receiving it, we’ll send him a reminder to consider it and validate (or not) his interest to meet with you.

When the prospect doesn’t react to your application within 48 hours.

If the prospect still hasn’t reviewed your application 48 hours after receiving it, his contact details will be automatically displayed on your dashboard for you to get in touch with him.

By understanding these conditions, you can effectively manage your applications and expectations when using Sortlist to connect with potential clients.

Furthermore, know that you will stay informed about what solutions are at your disposal to get in touch with a prospect, and when, through multiple channels (banners, notifications, tooltip and system messages).
